Ready to walk through the world as your most filled up self with only 15 minutes a week?
Here’s how you can start feeling like the YOU that is hiding under everyone else’s needs and wants.
The You Habit
is the ultimate accountability program for moms who are ready to show up in their own lives with joy, fun, and as their most self-y selves.
Oh, I know what your day looked like.
You woke up to the sound of screeching in the kitchen as the kids argued over who gets the last of the Cheerios and from that moment, your day was on, like Donkey Kong.
Between getting everyone where they need to be, frantically trying to work in the cracks of time between appointments and meal planning, you realize mid-afternoon that you forgot to eat lunch. Again.
You slam down a couple of cookies (they’re lemon-flavored so it’s practically like eating fruit), then back to picking everyone (and everything) up, shuttling them to activities, then dinner, bedtime, and crashing out on the couch where you try and ignore the growing pile of laundry and to-dos that you just don’t have the energy to get to tonight.
Then it’s bed and back at it again.
And the worst part is you’re working SO DAMN HARD,
yet you somehow feel like a failure for not being able to stay on top of it all.
You feel guilty you aren’t “enjoying the chaos” more.
You sometimes feel resentful that your family doesn’t care that you too were once a person with hopes and dreams. Hopes and dreams that were bigger than hunting down homework and guessing what snack they might actually eat this week.
Is it any wonder we dream about getting hit (just a little) by a car so we can take a well-earned rest?
What if I told you that you didn’t need a car accident to start enjoying your life again? (Full disclosure: I thought this for many, many years.)
What if - by dedicating only 15 minutes a week- you could start feeling like yourself again, could start enjoying your life and family again?
What if you could build the habit of YOU back into your life?

I’m going to share with you a way of thinking that is counterintuitive to what all of us moms have been taught and might make you uncomfortable for a hot second, which is okay. (Being uncomfortable won’t kill you, pinkie swear.)
The best way to take care of your family isn’t to do more for them, but to take care of YOURSELF first.
To make your needs and wants a priority so you have something left in your emotional bank when things get rough.
To have fun and laugh so they see, up close, what lightness and joy look like.
To live a life that is aligned with your strengths, dreams, and priorities so they have permission to do the same.
And, listen, I know you have so much to do! You can’t add more to your already overflowing plate! You don’t want to feel guilty about one more thing!
I totally get that.
And, can I just say, you are absolutely worth the time and energy it takes to show up in your own life, whether or not it helps your family?
You deserve to have a life that looks and feels like you simply because that is your human right.
And, let’s be real, it also helps your family.
You are the center of the family and we all know what happens when you aren’t your best - slammed doors, temper tantrums, and crying in the closet (so much closet crying).
But, when you feel like yourself, when you’re operating from a space of overflow, when you like yourself and your life, it’s fun, ease-full, and, omg, so much less closet drama.
Are you ready to start feeling like yourself again?

Hi! I’m Kara
and I’m a recovering people pleaser.
Oh, it worked for me for a very long time. I’ve always been an over-achieving, straight-A student type (gold stars for the win!), but having kids pushed it to the limit.
I read all the parenting books so I could figure out how to do it the “right” way (but, what if my kiddo really loves sugar?!??!), learned how to manage on barely any sleep so it didn’t disrupt my husband’s schedule (and fell asleep at a stop light!), ran my body into the ground to get back into shape (hills with a double Bob!), and, basically, put aside all of my needs and wants so I could get my Outstanding Mom of the Year trophy (still waiting for it).
You can imagine, I was A LOT of fun. 😂
Over the past ten years, I’ve made what feels like a million tiny shifts and small changes that have resulted in a completely, different-feeling life. I’ve worked with coaches and therapists to help me get clear on what a “Kara Life” feels like.
And it worked!
I have a great relationship with my husband and kids. I have enough time to work on projects that matter while also taking care of my family. I’m on all sorts of meds that help my brain and body function properly. I walk through the world with joy and grace, most of the time.
I have a life that looks and feels like only my life can.

And, of course, it’s not perfect, but, that’s okay, because I have enough time and space built in I can navigate tough stuff without everything (and me) shutting down.
And it’s all because I committed to a very specific methodology - The You Habit - to make myself a priority in my own life every day and, holy cow, it feels
Amazing.
And, listen, I’m not some special unicorn. You can ABSOLUTELY do the same for your life.
When you commit to The You Habit - carving out dedicated time for yourself each week that NOBODY CAN TOUCH - you can:
You are not stuck. You are not too old. You are not too busy. (Even if you feel like you are.)
If you commit to one action a week, in a year your life will be different. That’s just the way it works.
But here’s the thing.
You’re going to have the best of intentions. You’re going to commit to this idea - carving out time for yourself each week - and probably do an amazing job for the first two weeks.
And then life’s going to get busy and you’re going to skip a day, and then a couple, and before you know it, another year has gone by and you’re still feeling resentful, annoyed, and unseen.
But, what if you could have support? Not another big commitment where you have to remember what time to get on zoom and then listen to other people yammer on while you worry about if you remembered to sign up for spring soccer.
Instead, what if you could have an easy, super-quick conversation every week to keep you on track?
I’m talking 15 minutes a week
- by private email with me -
for a more fulfilling, joyful life that looks and feels like you
(the you from before kids stole your time and collagen).
The You Habit is your opportunity to make the smallest of shifts over the next year to prioritize your wants and needs, so you can walk through the world filled up.
Once a week, I will send you a short, fun, motivating email to keep you on track. Your only requirement is to report back and answer my three questions, which I will then respond back to.
The questions are:
- How did you show up for yourself this week?
- How will you show up for yourself next week?
- Anything else?
It’s so simple, yet it works. Why?
- You spent the moolah so you’ve got skin in the game!
- Accountability works! Knowing I’ll be watching out for your email will get you moving, pinkie swear.
- You’ll have a record of where you started and can see your changes over the course of the year, a huge motivator.
- You’re standing up and saying you’re ready to commit to yourself, which is tougher to back out of when somebody else (me!) is involved.
- You’ll get a gentle, weekly reminder to prioritize what’s important (you).
- It’s easy enough that you can get it done consistently to start experiencing the sweet feeling of momentum and progress.
We will do this for 52 weeks and, if you commit, you can’t help but change your life.
I email you. You reply. I email you back. That simple.

But, Kara! That’s too easy! I can ask myself those same questions! It needs to be bigger, harder, more complex!
Listen, if more difficulty equaled more success, I’m pretty sure all of us would be living it up on our yachts while our kids brought home Honor Roll Grades and never touched their devices.
But, trying harder is actually getting you farther from who you used to be, who you really are.
So, maybe it’s time to do it differently. Maybe it’s time to lean into the simple and trust that enough tiny movements will take you to a completely different place.
Because this program - The You Habit - is easy, it’s fast, and it keeps you accountable. Think of it like a really excited coach who wants the best for you, but also totally gets what it feels like to have 397 unresolved to-dos on your list.
You deserve a space that is just for you.
You deserve a coach who is cheering you on and can hold the vision.
You deserve a life where, every week, you prioritize yourself, even if it’s just for 15 minutes.
You deserve a life that looks and feels like you and The You Habit can help you get it.
You deserve the best of me and that means I have to keep it small and focused.
I'm closing the doors on April 19th so we can have a full year to really hunker down and get you feeling like your most TA-DAH self again.
So, how much does this cost?

Jk, but, seriously, I should charge that because we’re talking about YOUR LIFE.
Instead, it’s only $495, which is less than $40 a month to feel like yourself again.
Pretty sure we all spent that last week on wrinkle cream, trying to recapture the glory (and firmness) of our youth. What if instead, you put that money towards actually FEELING like your old self? What if you built yourself from the inside out?
And honestly, it should be a lot more, and probably will be in the near future!
But, this is a new program and I want to keep it inexpensive enough that I can help a bunch of moms right now, in this moment.
So, $495 for a year of prioritizing yourself?
Yes, please!
(Because of the nature of the program, there are no refunds.)
And, the sweetest part is, the good feelings start right away!
The minute you sign up for this program, you are prioritizing yourself.
You are saying, “I am important enough to commit time and money to. My needs and wants are important enough to get focused, supported attention for the next year.”
I really hope you’ll join me for this year-long project - it’s going to be a blast and I’d love to support you.
FAQs!
IS THIS FOR ME?
The You Habit is perfect for you if you feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to actually hear yourself think. If you do well with accountability and gentle prodding. If you know you were meant for more joy, fun, and connection than you have right now. If you’re ready to start feeling again like the you, you know is still in there.
I'M A SINGLE MOM - IS IT FOR ME?
FOR SURE! As a single mom, I know you have more on your plate than anyone, which means we gotta keep you feeling your best. Because the program is all over email, you can do it when you have the time (ha!).
But, seriously, turning on a movie for the kids once a week so you can focus on what brings you joy is absolutely worth it and this program will keep reminding you it’s okay to do what you need to do.
I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA - IS IT FOR ME?
Absolutely! Because the program is all over email, time zones aren’t a factor (although you may get my responses in the middle of the night).
HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK AGAIN?
It’s super easy, simple, and effective.
Once a week, I will send you a short, fun, motivating email to keep you on track. You will email me back and answer my three questions, which I will then respond back to.
The questions are:
- How did you show up (take care of yourself?) for yourself this week?
- How will you show up for yourself next week?
- Anything else?
I’ll email you. You email me. I’ll email you again. Your life will start
to shift.
DO YOU USE AI AND CHATBOTS?
Nevah! It’s all Kara, all the time.
CAN I HAVE PRIVATE COACHING BY EMAIL WITH YOU?
This is the closest you’ll get, which is pretty darn close! If you are interested in more personalized, one-to-one coaching, check out my coaching programs.
CAN I CANCEL?
You can cancel at any time by sending an email to [email protected] and you’ll stop getting emails, but that feels crazy pants because you’ve already paid for it! Remember: No refunds.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I JOIN TODAY?
You’ll get an email from me right away and then every Friday after that for one year.
DOES THIS WORK?
It works if you take 15 minutes to reply to the email each week. And, even if you don’t complete that week’s goal, you’ll still learn from it, I promise. Some of my biggest ah-has have come after weeks of pushing off what I said I was going to do…

CAN I DO THIS LATER?
I mean, you can always put off taking care of yourself until “later”, but we both know that means it’s not going to happen anytime soon. Life doesn’t tend to get magically less chaotic, even though we think it will.
Instead, imagine how different you’ll feel a year from now, after prioritizing yourself over and over again. You deserve a life where you’re showing up, consistently. Enough said.
I'm ready to get started!
